Harrington Gardens, South Kensington

A project in a conservation area in central London.

This project provided an interesting design exercise - the exiting layout didn’t make the best use of the aspect over the private gardens to the rear of the building. The proposal was to flip around the kitchen to enhance the living space to the rear. This in turn allowed us to create a better second bedroom and additional en-suite arrangement to the main bedroom. Simple but effective.

For a private client, with a total floor space of 70sqm. The scope of works included developing a design, planning permission and party wall awards consent.
